Guest guest
Hi Cathy, I changed the subject header and snipped all the text from Chris' post about the archives because it didn't seem to have anything to do with your question here. I'm not sure this is exactly what you were getting at, but the simple answer I guess is that fragrance is a broader term that includes synthetic chemicals that are synthesized in a lab. Whereas, in natural perfumery, we use the term essence to indicate a substance directly extracted from a plant (or sometimes animal). Guest guest
thanks. Well I have found that fragrances are not always essential oils and does not always give the same healing properties like essential oils do. For example my fragrance lavendar mint, might cause people to think its pure lavendar with a touch of mint, however this is not always the case. we get the smells at times without the oils. That was the discussion I was attempting to bring up and see what others believed and thought. Blessings, Cathy ______________________________\ ____________________________ Cathy L.
