Do power lines contribute to breathing problems?

The power lines I was referring to in my post yesterday are the HUGE ones

Running out of power generating stations, etc.

Not the normal ones running across and under our streets...

Those huge lines DO eventually cause cancer and will disrupt breathing,

sleep, and electrical currents running through our bodies.

I grew up on a ranch in ND and noticed when I was a kid that the cattle

loved to hang around under the power lines, near the legs encased in

concrete to hold them steady because of the awful " hummmm " .

That hummm also kept the flies to a minimum, so the cattle liked it there,

especially in the summertime.

But I also noticed a lot more cancer problems in those cattle when we worked

them in the fall after they had been in the pasture all summer.

I asked my dad about that (50 years ago) and he said that's the cause of

those big cancer tumors we'd see fairly regularly...

I'd imagine people have the same problems... it just takes a while for the

cancer to become large enough for detection (8-15 years).

I have several friends who live near me who've had tumors removed from their

brains from always talking on their cell phones and another lady who had a

large part of her intestines removed from cancer right under where she had

her cell phone clipped to her belt. Of course doctors will never tell you

about 5those dangers... they'd rather have the (SICK) business!! Doctors

know little, if anything, about keeping people HEALTHY. That doesn't pay

their bills...!

Hi Jan,

I find this interesting...can you please post valid scientific

references that back this up? All the studies I've been able to find

through Web Of Science database searchs at my university show a link

between EMF and childhood lymphoma, but no proven links to other

cancers (and believe me, there have been *hundreds* of studies done in

the last 30+ years).

Thanks,

Melissa
