Hi Debbie

I'm not sure why lime oil is the only citrus oil

distilled. But if you want distilled citrus,

Christopher at White Lotus carries lemon and orange

" essence " which is distileld from teh juice as I

understand it. They don't have the pungency of the

expressed oils, but they are light and lovely. His

website is:

Distilled lime oil is far less of a photo sensitiser than expressed.

Oils are produced to meet the needs of the big commercial users (not

aromatherapy, big users will not use the expressed oil to meet safety

requirements. The only safe use of expressed lime oil is in non

contact fragrances.
