Guest guest
Ahh, Butch, just wait until it gets to the point it is in Toronto, smoking in public places was banned a few years ago, all bars were forced to put in special smoking rooms that were ventilated to the outside, these rooms are like large glass fish tanks, all us non smokers get to watch everyone puff through the windows, then this past fall, the city decided that it was now smoke free, all those bars that paid 20-30 thousand for those fish tanks, were told that they were no longer acceptable. The bars are all still thriving, it hasn't caused any hardship, the smokers now go outside for their puff. In the past few years, it has become acceptable for smokers, to smoke by an open window ( even in their own homes) and now the Government of Canada is going to BAN smoking in your own car if there are children traveling in it. Enjoy your puffs while they last. Glad I never took up the habit. And now, your going to love this, the city of Toronto is reviewing a plan to charge a SIDE WALK TAX, yes, you read that right, you will now have to pay to stand in line to get into your favorite bar or to see a Broadway show, if this dipsh*t ( err, I mean politician ) gets his way. What a world!
