Guest guest
Speaking of prices going up -- and this IS off topic but I was SHOCKED: has anyone noticed the rise in price of toilet paper??? No, I'm Serious!! It's about doubled in the last year. I'm guessing rising price of oil/gas/fuel (ethanol) is starting to affect everything......NO, I do not want to turn this into a political discussion at all. But toilet paper??? Really! It's a needed commodity!! Dede , Allana <allanajoy wrote: > > Hi All, > Does anyone know why the price of patchouli has risen so much? Actually in many parts of Asia it is common to WASH the anal area rather than wipe it. Which is also why it is a mortal insult to offer someone the left hand. Just so you know. Of course, WATER is needed for that. Good clean water may well be the most needed, and getting scarcer, commodity of all. Guest guest
Between the diminishing dollar, the scarcity of materials and increased demand from other business sectors for natural raw materials, we will see prices increase for the foreseeable future. Have you sourced helichrysum lately? Wowza. Be well, Marcia Elston
Guest guest
Toilet paper is a finite resource, folks. I just added this link to my website to help educate about consumption. http://www.storyofstuff.com/ TP might be considered necessary here, Dede, but what do you think they do in the Congo? The real fact is TP is a luxury, not a necessity. Unbelievable as it may seem to we, the privileged. Certainly not meaning to demean anyone here; I'm not about to give mine up, either. Just hoping to get us all to think about it. I'm wondering if it is a short term change of if I am going to have to raise my product prices.
