Guest guest
Years ago, I had a friend who had the same situation with her daughter -- she was breastfeeding. It was recommended that the *mom* switch to goats milk for awhile. It turned out that the daughter had a definite allergy to cow's milk which was transferred to the daughter through the breast milk. After awhile (can't remember details it was 20 years ago), the rashes cleared up. Another benefit to goats milk, it is higher in calcium than cows milk. (Moms lose calcium to their babies through breastfeeding.) The brand I buy (Meyenberg) is also fortified with Vitamin D and folic acid and free from growth hormones. Hope this helps -- Melissa :-) , " Aline " <adoignon wrote: > > Hi there everyone. Guest guest
To Melissa, Sorry about respond this late? I was born with eczema of the skin and lots of allergies and asthma. I drank goats milk as a baby and still do as an adult. Cow's milk is to muscus forming in the lungs. When baby's spit up and the smell is sourer. Just my opinion. I think it comes from the cow's milk and can formula. Also, Meyenberg is kind of expensive. I purchase my goats milk at Trader's Joe's the price is resonable. I am from the " old school " generation and my mother made sure I could not scarce my skin raW. At 56yrs old I have just about flawless skin and no wrinkles. And neither one of my adult children or grandson had none of the problems that I had as a child that I mention above.
