Guest guest
Does anyone have much information on this? I have looked and looked on the web and can't really find anything. Do you have to be careful of certain oils when you are nursing? I know there are oils that aren't suppose to be used on children of certain ages does that mean I shouldn't use them also? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Cora, This is a subject very near and dear to my heart as I extended breast fed both of my sons (till they were into age 2). Babies are attracted to mama's natural scent, so the more you do to stay smelling like natural mommy, and the less perfumed, the better ... including using soaps that are less scented, deodorants that are lightly scented or " unscented " or no deodorant at all - unscented powder and clay helps ... some .. *lol*), lightly or unscented lotions .... etc .. I know that many moms enjoy wearing perfumes, and I suggest and carry chambered jewelry for perfumes and aromatherapy. http://www.alittleolfactory.com/jewelry.htm You put a few drops of your scent on a pad and put it in the jewelry and voila! You smell wonderfully perfumed and can remove it in an instant for baby to nurse in olfactory comfort. Other than that, as long as you don't go overboard diffusing in the house and don't go overboard scenting yourself .. your baby should be a happy baby cause you're a nursing mama and they love it when mama nurses them! Congratulations on your new joy! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.czluxe.com http://www.alittleolfactory.com , " Cora " <coramcoyle wrote: > > Does anyone have much information on this?
