Guest guest
Hi all, I just got a nice Black Welsh Mountain sheep fleece, and I want to collect the lanolin from it to use in salves etc. I was just going to use a very hot pre-wash/soak before the actual washing with detergent. Anyone have any other instruction or hints? Thanks! JenB
Guest guest
It will depend on part if you want to use the fleece afterward or just get the lanolin. Too hot and with agitation may make it start to felt and then it would not be usable.
