Thanks for the info .. and I am sure that you are not really all that

surprised. This is the type action Tony Burfield and Martin Watt and others

in the UK have been fighting against for a long time and they admit that

they are probably fighting a losing battle.

 

Though this was a decision by a managing editor of major media, we all know

that the EU Parliament has long been making ridiculous decisions and passing

unenforceable but threatening regulations designed to improve the lives of

the " sheeple " .. I use this term because it appears that they think the

people are not wise enough to know how many times they should wipe

their butts after using the toilet.

 

Almost without exception, these regulations are supported by recommendations

from various " committees " made up of people who generally know nothing about

alternative medicine .. recommendations based on pseudo scientific

hypothesis rather than theory.

 

Hypothesis is nothing more than an educated guess. In the world of

science, a " theory " is as close to truth as we can get until it is proven

and becomes a fact. A theory is a hypothesis that has been tested, double

blind tested and peer reviewed .. a hypothesis graduates to the level

of " theory " when all attempts to prove it wrong have failed .. and it

continues to be a theory until a flaw is identified .. or it is proven to be

a solid fact.

 

Recommendations coming out of these committees and being passed by the EU

Parliament are almost all based on information that is not pertinent to the

world of alternative-complementary medicine .. or even perfumery. Bans are

in place on use of certain Essential Oils based on results of testing of

isolated, extracted chemical components of a particular EO .. even though

there is absolutely no chance of these single chemical components being

used by a human.

 

Americans must give attention to the problems being faced by our British

cousins because Social Democracy is but a way station along the road to

Social Fascism. So far we in the USA have been spared such attention .. but

we know that the FDA, AMA and Big Pharma would love to see a similar

crackdown on our freedom to decide and even on the sale and

use of " unproved " natural products. Therefore, I believe that it is in the

best interests of all of us .. and the interests of our children .. to get

involved in what is going down in the UK.

 

I am a member of 37 News Groups now .. I monitor 28 of them .. never made a

post on those 28. But I request your permission to send a modified copy of

the information you have provided to all of those groups .. and permission

for any other list member to send it to groups they are members of.
