Guest guest
What oil would help kill itching in the vaginal area. I have a client who has this but I don't know if it is candida or a bladder infection and she is an all natural person and won't go to the doctor. Tell her to get some yogurt (acidophilus) That's if it's Candida.. And put it on a pad... And wear it. Yes I had a nurse tell me that it works for yeast infections. The best type is The plain yogurt and I think it's made out of goats milk... If it's a bladder infection cranberry juice. I would suggest to her using it, but i'm not a doctor so you can't quote me as saying it's a cure.... as far as any other itching. I would say that she should try going without wearing under wear or panty hose for a while... (Yes doctor's tell women that still) And while transcribing for a gynecologist she suggested boric acid tablets (for Candida). I don't know if they are suppositories or taking them.. Out side of that BAKING SODA is good for itching...Unless she has crabs. Then pyrethrum (but there's plenty of over the counter natural solutions for that that have it in it) here's some google search I did.. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & client=firefox-a & channel=s & rls=org.mozilla%3A\ en-US%3Aofficial & hs=opN & q=Natural+remedies+for+pruritus & btnG=Search Oh and I think emu would work cause it works on my psoriasis, and then maybe tamanu (smells awful) and neem.. (another yuk) But hey she's natural. And I would dilute the neem and the tamanu in a carrier oil because you don't know if she's hypersensitive or not.. Guest guest
Drink lots of water. This will help alot. It will clean your system out. The yogurt and cranberry juice work. I mix fresh or frozen cranberries and yogurt together and drink it. Like a smoothie. I had my ob/gyn tell me to put yogurt on a pad too and wear it on the vagina area. I almost puked. I love yogurt. We eat alot of plain yogurt in my family. Eating yogurt also helped the yeast infection. Aminah
Guest guest
There are many ways to help with this. A sitz bath with chamomile tea is good. Using an herbal distillate is a good idea too. These are slightly acidic which is what the pH of the vagina should be - that's why alot of douches are vinegar based. If it is a urinary tract infection it needs to be treated asap before it moves up to the kidny area. Of course there is always drinking of cranberry juice. I would do a multifaceted approach: drink lots of cranberry, wash with a good strong tea like chamomile which will also decrease itching, and use a distillate - maybe even keep a soaked pad on the area. Guest guest
Someone advised me to have her use melted coconut oil and a probiotic opened into water. She used it yesterday and said it worked very well. She finally has relief. I had completely forgotten about the yogurt. I have four girls and if they had a problem, I would pull the plug almost out of a tampon and fill it with yogurt, then use the plug to inject it. How could I have forgotten about that? Maybe because I haven't had a tampon in this house for over 10 years? LOL , " Cindy Jones " <cindyjones1 wrote: > > There are many ways to help with this. A sitz bath with chamomile tea > is good. Guest guest
Afternoon all, two things that will help: 1. dilute Australian Sandalwood, using a solubiliser and water, down to about 1% or 0.5% and wipe the area of itch. Lavender with the same proportions will work as well, but not as well. 2. to kill the problem if it is GIT infection is 1/2 a teaspoon of green clay first thing in the morning. Take for about 3 weeks and that should get rid of the infection. I tend to take the clay dry and swig down a small glass of water to get the clay off my tongue then a cup of tea to get rid of the taste. Neither of these methods should cause too many problems. Guest guest
If it is a bladder infection. 1/4 an oz of AC vinegar in 8 oz of water, done every 6 hours for several days, is th easiest way for me to deal with them. For bad itching, pack the area with yogurt. C-M
Guest guest
Janice, you can also put the tea tree essential oil in yogurt carrier . . . Roll Tampax and proceed as you describe . . . Then continue using plain yogurt in lieu of the probiotic by mouth, if you want. Not sure you would need the plain yogurt treatment for an entire month to get back to healthy flora, perhaps half the time. Are you suggesting the same procedure for bladder infection using the juniper?
