Regarding labels

Well, I'm getting kind of tired making labels using my computer, my

Dell photo printer and laminated labels.....seems like I'm always about

1/32 " off ... and I canNOT cut a straight line if my life depended upon

it!

I don't produce enough product right now to warrant finding someone to

make my labels.

Should I just hunker down and get used to it for now?? Or do you guys

use something else? Any one use one of those Xyron machines ... if so,

are you happy with it?

I'd love to have input from others!!

Thanks!

Dede

I really liked mine--I could print on any paper I wish, then make it

into a stick-on. I had a 510 (but I don't think these are available

anymore--I'm actually trying to replace the one I lost in my move from

Detroit) but this time I think I want a bigger one, so that's

something to consider.

Hi Dede,

Have you looked into Primera Label Makers. They make two versions.

We also got tired of printing our labels on our Dell Printers as they

always were coming out crooked. And we still had to put tape

laminations over them too.

With the Primera you can buy different sizes of stock labels and

use them or have them custom make the blank labels for you (which is

what we do).

Anyway, the printer is a little costly but it prints short run

labels that you can change at your own whims. Or in our case if we

decide to get a new essential oil from a new country etc.

They make an LX 810 (very expensive) and the LX 400 (not so

expensive).

They still aren't the perfect printers for some items but we have

adapted them to work for our product line.

Here is a link to their site. http://www.primeralabel.com/

Hope this might help a little.

Hey Serra!

I found several 510's at the local JoAnne's here (Bryan, TX)

yesterday ... pondered about it. Do you use the adjustable tape?

Dede

p.s. Want me to send you one?? ;-)
