Hey Marcia,

 

Kudos! Keep up the good work!

 

A buncha thoughts just popped into my head while reading your post

and I'm going to toss them out there - just to spark some creative

thinking

 

I was wondering - have y'all considered contacting some of the more

well known " alternative therapies " promoting people, both " mainstream "

guys like Weil and Sears, and more widely known " non mainstreamers "

like Mercola, etc .. (those were just examples, pick others of course

too, but the example is these guys are practically household names,

and whether you like them or not, they get more info out there to more

people than most) Also, think of organizations like the Organic

Consumers Association. All those info promoters, who have a large

following can work together to get more of the positive science

promoted and discredit these half arsed studies that would have been

discredited immediately if it was coming from the other side (the alt.

med guys trying to pass a study like this as meaningful).

 

The longevity of some folks here, and the personal connections between

them, with just about everyone in the world of AT, including folks who

are the closest thing to being " famous " in the field, such as Robert

Tisserand, are tools that are available and can be used to reach a far

larger audience than just folks in AT cyber list land (which is a

great place, but there is a larger world out there and the more

information mediums that can be used as tools to promote information,

messages, and brands, the better).

 

Heck, another thought is working towards getting on shows to talk

about real AT and its benefits - from the local morning news to

getting on shows like Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray, or getting on

shows on specialty cable networks like Fitness Channel and/or pitching

the idea of doing an AT special to them. Heck, on a channel like Link

you can really get into the politics and the Cropwatch/EU stuff too

 

There is probably nothing new under the sun I mentioned above .. I've

just been exploring many new ideas myself lately, and various ways to

look at things and how to not only take opportunities but create them

as well. For every challenge, I've learned to think of 12 possible

options, then weed out what is viable and what isn't ... and those

options just poured into my head and I figured I pour them right out

(so as to not have them floating around in my already hearty neural

soup and I guess I was just in the mood to type and gab for 10

minutes too *lol*

 

Back to work for me now!
