Guest guest
Hey all! I'm getting ready to do a " spa day " with my female students in a few months. For my workshop, we're going to be making a hand/foot scrub, body lotion, and possibly lip balm (my co-presenter may be doing that one). Now, my students don't really care about the nature of the ingredients (though they should!!) and I'm on a tight budget (love the end of the year). Any suggestions on where I can get decent priced scents for the girls to use? They like the basics (flowery scents, peppermint, chocolate). Guest guest
Hi Christa, An easy, inexpensive body scrub idea is a sugar scrub. Just get some fine white sugar, some grapeseed oil or safflower oil and some liquid castil soap. Use about 1 cup of sugar, 1/4 each of liquid soap and oil and add your scent. Lavender and peppermint are nice together, or add powdered cocoa for a chocolate scrub. Or salt glows: about 1 cup of fine grain salt and about 1 cup of oil (safflower, sweet almond, grapeseed, olive, etc.) and scent with your EOs of choice. You can also add poppy seeds for extra exfoliation to the salt glows and sugar scrubs! Have fun! Connie www.LostRiverNaturals.com
