Guest guest
Hi All, Just thought I give you an update with the responses I received from the very small survey response. Olive Oil - 1 vote Talc - 1 vote - but 3 negative responses Jojoba - 1 vote All in all, it was noted that nut oils should be avoided for use on infants and children under 2 due to risk of developing nut allergies or reactions. Off list I got responses for the following from those that work in the field of infant massage. Grapeseed oil - is used at some hospitals Sunflower - at a couple others, but mostly used on mothers during labor. Jojoba - is used occasionally but is not commonly used. So, if you have another opinion please let me know. My choices would probably be Sunflower, then Jojoba, but that's my choice for general infant massage - not just premies. Have a good weekend everyone. My hubby and I are off to celebrate our Wedding anniversary!! Yeah a few days away. Yours in Aromatherapy, Penny Your One Stop Aromatherapy Shop!
