Guest guest
I know that I do not drink enough of water in my diet and I would like to know what diffrent ways can water be flavored. I am on medications so I am not sure if I have to be carefull of mixing things. Thanks Ginny
Guest guest
How about some weak peppermint tea?
Guest guest
What about just the standard lemons or limes? Or if you like tea, they have several flavors out there and cold green tea is very tasty!!
Guest guest
My boyfriend brews a weak peppermint tea by using 2 bags for about 2 quarts of water, then takes that to work instead of soda. He loves it. Guest guest
Hi Ginny, I get bored with plain water so sometimes I take a cinnamon stick, a couple whole cloves, a dash of ground nutmeg (fresh is always the tastiest), some lemon peel and make a concentrated tea. Sometimes I add honey and sometimes a shot of lemon juice. It's good hot or cold and can be refrigerated then used as strong or diluted as you like. Note, I've found that too much cinnamon and or nutmeg can make it too bitter for me -- but try it out see what you think! Be sure to talk to your doctor (or pharmacist) about the meds you are on to find out if there might be any potential interactions between the spices & meds. Guest guest
Hi Ginny, Welcome aboard! I love water with citrus twists (a squirt of lemon or lime), a hint of mint, and occasionally (especially in sparkling water on a hot day) a spritz of rose or neroli (orange blossom) hydrosol (be sure its from a reputable source) Of course when on meds you want to be sure something you're eating isn't going to affect your scripts (so check with your doc), but know that all of the things I mentioned above are considered safe for food use (GRAS). *Smile* Chris (list mom) Spring Sale - NOW! http://www.alittleolfactory.com > , " Virginia -(Ginny) " > <Hawknesting@> wrote: > > > > I know that I do not drink enough of water in my diet and I would > like > > to know what diffrent ways can water be flavored.
