What you are seeking is a muscle relaxer .. anti spasmodic and such .. and the answer is sniffing ANY of the Carvacrol rich Oregano oils. > I was sort of thinking that oils that were anti viral and analgesic may be good > but just wanted others points of views. Anti viral consideration is a waste of time .. sciatica is not a microbial problem .. analgesics will stop pain but when something is biting us in the butt its better to get temporary (sometimes longer term) relief from the cause rather than treating the symptoms. > Would value any contributions. My advice is to avoid all the complicated and hypothetical cures folks can spell out .. do your homework first and find out what the problem is .. then concentrate of use of an effective EO to combat the problem .. and the problem can generally best be dealt with by attacking the cause rather than the symptoms .. not always .. but generally. I will also add that Black Cumin (Nigella sativa) does stop pain when applied dermally .. but Black Cumin is a wondrous oil anyway .. check the list archive for Black Cumin or Nigella sativa. And on Oregano, you can check these old posts .. to this News Group. Nothing contained in these posts is repeated from a novel .. its all personal experience and the experiences of many others. http://health./message/22259 http://health./message/22393 http://health./message/27143 > Thank you Liz Welcome you are fer'shur. Guest guest
Butch I know you are going to argue till the cows come home and that is ok. LOL I do have sciatic pain and have used my pain cream to stop the butt pain and leg pain. You do not put the cream on the butt or the leg. You put it over the place that the nerve is being squeezed. I know you nor Martin will never buy this idea. But it doesn't matter to me. It stops the pain and when used at night I can get out of bed with out pain. I have very painful knees and I couldn't imagine life with out the pain cream. Not just me but all the people that have used my pain cream come back for more and they will tell you and everyone else that they have never used anything that works as well as mine. Have a nice day. Guest guest
Hi Butch, I first logged on to this group in 2004 and I believe in 2005 I could been up straigth one morning and had a lot of pain in the lower left back. Anyway I subspected that in my " old age " that my curvure of the spine has finally gotten the best of me. To bad Butch I had not read your remedy when you talked about your sciatic problem. Well, Butch it cost me 12,000 that's American dollars going throught emergency and 1 day admittance which I checked myself out because no one seem to know what the H--- was going on. DAH!! I come home and check my e-mail and I read your remedy. Well Butch you didn't save me, 12K, but the next attack which came in 2006 I had my little bottle of Carvacvol Oregano. Sniff and heat pad and rest.BINGO Janis --- Butch Owen <butchowen wrote: > Howdy Liz. > > > Hi, Just wondered if anyone had any advice on what > oils, could be used > > to relieve symptoms in sciatica.
