Guest guest
My little 4 month old has been sick all week...the whole week he's been VERY snotty. The first half of the week he wouldn't sleep at all at night, but this second half of the week he's been sleeping much better. However, this second half of the week he's had a really bad phlegmy cough. I haven't seen him spit up any more than usual, and he's been in a pretty good mood (he'll cry for a minute or two when he has a coughing fit, but then he'll stop and go on playing happily like usual). He hasn't had a fever at any point. Any suggestions? We have our humidifier going and I had him breath in a steam bowl of peppermint, tea tree, and eucalyptus. Guest guest
Let it run it's course..... Isn't eucalyptus dangerous for an infant/child? -- Margaret Helm-Duell Mohea Natural Beauty LLC -------------- Original message ---------------------- " aearce2005 " <lisamerrill2007 > My little 4 month old has been sick all week...the whole week he's > been VERY snotty. Guest guest
i have been thnking about your post. you are a very concientious mom but please, do not use essential oils w/o doing research on them. peppermint is a very strong oil, especially for the tender age of 4 mos. it is suggested that peppermint not even be diffused w/adults for more than 20 minutes at a pop. imagine w/a infant. every oil has it's cautions. eo's are anywhere from 75-100% more powerful than the herbs themselves. that's why it only takes a drop or 2. you would hate to hurt your baby while trying to help him. please, do your homework before using essential oils!! , " aearce2005 " <lisamerrill2007 wrote: > > My little 4 month old has been sick all week...the whole week he's > been VERY snotty.
