Guest guest
I've heard (and read) that those items do work for bugs BUT that the pulsing of the units actually are attractive to snakes. Same with those little whirlygigs you put in the garden to repel moles/gophers. That they do - but they attract snakes..... Guest guest
Thought I'd also share that 'in the olden days' our grandparents would get horseapples and toss them under the corners of the house. They do repel spiders. and naturally too.. Horseapples = osage orange. Judy (in the boonies) ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Thank you, Judy. Maybe the snakes will eat the spiders, then! Lol I guess I have to " pick my poison " & decide whether I dislike snakes or spiders more! Our property is heavily wooded, so I know we're going to live w/some bugs & critters, but I just want to keep them out of the house as much as possible. Guest guest
Hi, I use eucalyptus in repelling spiders. It works for me. I put it around windows and doors, wherever you see them coming in. Yet,I don't want them all gone. I keep the smaller ones for my house plants. They keep my garden and my house plants clean of bugs. Hope this helps.
