you're so very welcome~ living in the country I have to know~ I have all my

soap supplies in plastic tins~ not only for dust control but to make sure I

don't get any mice in here~! I' d freak~!

and

I know that sounds like a stupid trick but it works, (Bill has a hunting

cabin in south GA and we used that technique to catch big MO, the rat) lol~

that dang rat drug that trap around 15 minutes before he croaked~ he looked

like a baby possum~ Goodness~ I've NEVER gone back to the hunt camp~ that's

for sure~ lol~ but the tootsie roll is stuck so hard an fast to the trap

they just can't snatch and run~ giggle~remember to just use a pinky size

piece, not the whole tootsie rool~ and as far as those tricky spiders ~ glue

traps~ that's the secret~

Why in the world would you condone torturing an animal to death is

beyond me. You think it's funny that poor rat died and suffered in

pain for your enjoyment. This really sickens me and I will not be

apart of a group that condones this. This group is suppose to be

about natural living not about cruelty to wildlife. Humane live traps

are the only safe way, but people are obviously too lazy to use them

or just don't care.

Being a new member of this group certainly is intriguing- I value

the difference in opinions, and I think we all should. We all are

entitled to our own beliefs... As for animal torture, well, I do not

condone it, but I do not condone living with rats in my house

either. They are disease carriers, and I do not like them if they

are in MY HOUSE!!!

I have to wonder how do you suggest we keep rats/mice, spiders, cockroaches

etc out of our homes~ I keep ants at bay with Bay leaves~ I use all natural

whenever possible I assure you~ but I'd love to know another sure fire way

to keep the rats/ mice out~ You also have to realize now~ we're in an

industrialize area~ these rats are the size of possum~ ( you do know how

large a possum gets right?) so what would be your suggestion? We had one

family we wouldn't even let their furniture in the warehouse~ when the

driver opened the door~ the roaches ran like crazy, they were dropping off

the truck there was so many~ if we had let him in and tried to control them

humanely~ OMGoodness, everyones furniture would have been contaminated~ I

would love to hear your suggestions for control, trust me if there's a

better way I'm all for it~especially for the roaches~

and trust me ~ I don't ENJOY seeing anything die~ my son is dying from

Cancer~but If I could kill the cancer cells I would~I think maybe you

didn't think before you posted your remarks~

again, I'm so sorry if I offended you
