Dear list, I have abput 100 grosso plants that I distill for the oil. I

want to plant some more. tHRY WILL BE PLANTED AT AN ELEVATION OF ABOUT 3000

FEET IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA NEAR BURNEY CA. Can you Ell me what is the best

lavender to plant to get a high yeild of oil with a good aroma? When I was in

Provence last year one of the people there bad mouthed the grosso plant.

Jan, to MY nose, either lavandin super or lavandin abrialis have a nicer

aroma than the Grosso...

Hi there...

Though I don't have any suggestions,I wanted to say lucky you!!!! That would be

my dream to grow lots of lavender and distill oil.I absolutely ADORE lavender.I

have a few good sized plants i have had for their second year now and i rub up

against them every chance i get!!! Have fun with that and if you have some

good luck with the oil and u have some extra..I would love to buy some from

you!!!

Dear Marge, Thankl you Marge. I'll look for these lavenders. Any

suggestions of where to get them here in Northern CA?

What are the yields of these lavenders? Could I find out from Pappas?
