I want to plant some more. tHRY WILL BE PLANTED AT AN ELEVATION OF ABOUT 3000 FEET IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA NEAR BURNEY CA. Can you Ell me what is the best lavender to plant to get a high yeild of oil with a good aroma? When I was in Provence last year one of the people there bad mouthed the grosso plant. That would be my dream to grow lots of lavender and distill oil.I absolutely ADORE lavender.I have a few good sized plants i have had for their second year now and i rub up against them every chance i get!!! What are the yields of these lavenders? Could I find out from Pappas?
