Guest guest
Okay, haven't posted here in a while so might not know who I am. I'm chaeya, Michele from Orange County/Huntington Beach, California. So I'll give ya a little summary of the night since Chris or anybody hasn't made it on yet. Boulevard 3 is so beautiful. Nice outdoor courtyard with numerous little areas with couches surrounding fire pits or fireplaces. The atrium has a little bar and was dimly lit and Jennifer was sitting there all decked out in her faire digs (a major plus with me) looking hot and all. They had a big bowl of soaps and another bowl with little samples of Chris' products. They were smelling too yummy so I had to snag a few more than I should have which I passed on to a few friends later. I finally got to meet the famous Chris after what, 2004 and all the e- mails and near misses we've had. She had two cute little pigtails in her hair and a cute little dress and was bouncing happily around to her guests, so I tried to stay out of the way for the most part, but we got some good hugs in. The bands were awesome. I think it was country I was listening to or country rock or pop country. They had a great sound, great songs and awesome harmony. The important part, they weren't too loud. The main room was big, but not too big. My husband and I found a nice couch to sit near the stage and we were able to put our feet up and listen to the music and people watch. It looked to be a good 100 or so people there, a good feat for a Wednesday night in Hollywood. I got to meet David who's on the board and who I'd heard from Stacy and Christina, but that was about it from the boards. Got to take a picture with Chris and another picture for Jennifer. It was very nice to hang out after all the work we had been doing lately. My husband, Cisco, has been moving his recording studio to a commercial space and I moved my lotions/oils business right next door to his so we can share the rent and I've been helping a friend out to make raise some cash so we've been extremely exhausted and I've been suffering from severe headaches and stress which Chris and Jennifer gave me a nice talking to later that evening. We also were able to mingle with other people and everyone were pretty mellow and it was nice to just connect with people and have some nice conversations. Overall, it was a beautiful night that I will remember for some time and I was glad to support Chris and I'm sure her product will do well for the future. Guest guest
Hi Michele, So sorry I missed you! Thanks to a bit of overtime, they were already closing by the time I arrived. David and a few people he knew were sharing an outside seating area. It was a lovely setting, and a great place to visit for a little while. Oh, and I got to meet CeCe (sorry, not sure if I got your name right), who is also into AT. I finally got a chance to meet Chris, and see Jennifer again. After we left the club, we had a few minutes to talk. She made sure that everyone leaving, including the musicians, had samples. It was so lovely to see other people's completely positive reactions to Chris's product line, and Jennifer's candles, too. Hope they got home safely! Cheers, Christina
Guest guest
Darn Christina, We must have just missed you. Hopefully we'll get to hook up soon! I'm gonna be down at Harrah's Rincon/San Diego from the 27th to 29th - heck gonna enjoy the room comps, I e-mailed Stacey to see if she could make it up. You guys gotta come and check out my new place in Orange. He was really good looking and he actually lives minutes from my house. So... While I'm taken. It doesn't mean I'm not keeping an eye out for my single female friends. Guest guest
Jennifer has all the pictures. I left my honking 35 mm with the big ol' lenses home and let Jennifer be my point and shoot photographer. There was a professional photographer at the party, but I have no idea when I'll see those pics as he was hired by my friend Orlando, whose b-day party it was as well (even more so than it was my launch party) *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.czluxe.com , " Georgia (hahagranny) " <hahagranny wrote: > > Will we be seeing pictures any time soon? > > > ?God Bless You & Yours, > Georgia (hahagranny) > > ~~~God's answers are wiser than our prayers~~~ > > ~~~Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away~~~ > > ~~~Never be bullied into silence.
