Guest guest
HELP!! Any suggestion about what type of oils or therapy can help her. she has had flu like symptoms, sleep disturbance, swollen Lympth nodes , migraines, moodiness, short term memory loss and Bells palsy. she now is experiencing severe joint pain. We hope to get a spinal tap next week to make sure it has not gone into her spinal cord(nervous system). I made a great soak with Epsom salts, MSM, Birch, peppermint and she will be starting hydro therapy for moderate exercise that won't stress the joints. If any body has experience this or a family member ...what helps? I will take any suggestions. thanks and may you all remember tick season is here full swing on the East Coast. Guest guest
In the Northern Beaches of Sydney (Australia) we are fairly flush with ticks and I get a reaction to the bites - dealing with wildlife it is an occupational hazzard. & nbsp; As soon as I get the symptoms I (and several of my colleagues) grab my green clay poultice and slap it on the area, sometimes with the tick still there if it is the nymph stage adn I can't get it out. & nbsp; to stop the itch I will pop on a drop or so of Australian sandalwood and that also stops some of the secondaries. & nbsp; As the clay dries and lifts out some of the toxin it also kills the tick as it can't breath. & nbsp; If the tick is big enough or it has fallen off I just use the Sandalwood and the clay. & nbsp; & nbsp; I am rather prone to getting bitten or scratched by irate animals so I have my clay made up in bulk for instant use. & nbsp; I also use the clay across the base of the occipital area, on the temples and, sometimes, on the crown of my head to help shift a toxic headache. & nbsp; For the aching bones I would use a warm poultice of the clay over the sore areas. & nbsp; This is possibly where warm comfrey leaves could be used, but I'll leave that to the Herbalists of the group. & nbsp; I just use comfrey in my compost bin to improve the compost. & nbsp; Swollen lymph glands should have Manual Lymphatic Drainage done. & nbsp; I would NOT do more than 10 minutes a day as the system is already under stress and shifting too much toxin into the body at the same time isn't a good idea. & nbsp; I now refuse to do more than 30 minutes at a time. & nbsp; America gets a worse form of tick attack than we do in Sydney, but I think that similar treatments can & nbsp; be used. & nbsp; Regards Merinda & nbsp; Don't burn your bridges until you have built a pontoon Get the name you always wanted with the new y7mail email address. www.7.com.au/mail
Guest guest
Michele, A good friend of mine used Stephen Buhner's protocol from his book " Healing Lyme " and had great results. It was several years ago and she has not had any problems with it again. Teasel tincture 3 times a day is a big part of it if I recall correctly.
