Bottles WAS How do you dispose of essential oils and supplies when they are

Sandra, before washing bottles that have held essential oils, we first

rinse them in 90 proof rubbing alcohol. Since it's the essential oils in

the herbs that is scenting the glass, you might try that.

Thanks Marge. I already filled them with the coconut oil. The scent was being

caused by regular dried herbs and not essential herbs,

so maybe it will be harmless. Most of the smell went away later in the glass;

just the scent in the caps remained, even with the

alcohol. But I'll remember that tip for the future with any essential oil

bottles I have, which are accumulating.
