So running up the stairs today I got my left big toe caught in my right pant

leg (yeah, I'm a spaz, this is why always wear shorts or skirts LOL) and I

twisted my left big toe! It's all ugly, swollen and purple now! I've put

arnica gel on it, taken arnica internally, used The Real McCoy pain oil on

it .. and it's still all nasty and throbbing!

Anyone want to contribute their favorite relief suggestion?

And I thought I was a spaz last night when I wiped out in the garage

and trashed my knee.

Try an MSM lotion, best if you can get one with aloe and emu oil--toss

in some peppermint EO or menthol to help with the pain. It's working

on my knee.

Hugs and stop with the klutziness!

My husband knocked a trailer tongue weighing several pounds off a shelf onto his

toe. I used a combination of helichrysum, lavender, and roman chamomile in

jojoba oil.  He said the toe never bothered him again, and he didn't even lose

the toe nail. Lin

Are you just looking for eo's or for herbs?

These came to me when I heard how purple it was...

Also you may have majorly dislocated it and broke the blood vessels instead

of breaking it.  If it's twisted...  (mean looks like it's out of place

you may want to pull it back into place...  Otherwise I'd say go to the

doctor and have them take a look at it.. They'll do the same thing, but

they'll have anesthetized it.

All heal?  (ever hear of it)

Bone knit?  (ever hear of it) or Bone set?

(Buddy tape it)  Ice it.

Speaking of boneset I've got tons of it growing in my yard. Not sure

how to use it though. I know lots of people eat it raw but it is

like eating Velcro. Doesn't have much taste either.

Also, wondering how I might be able to use it for plantar fasciitis

and tendonitis. Anyone have thoughts on that?

Thanks!
