Crosspollinating oils and herbs with natural perfume ;-)

Chris, the list mom here on oils-herbs-etc will be posting later today

on my group, Natural Perfumery. She and I are right in the middle of the

anniversary dates of these respective groups.

 

NP was six years old on June 14th and OHE will be eight years old on

July 19th. Our groups share a lot in common besides being built around

nicely-scented essential oils, herbs, natural perfume and such - they're

both big, friendly groups that have survived and thrived on good old

while may faded away - and we give the credit for that to the

members, who are passionate and feel they have found a nice home in our

groups.

 

Yes, it's the great nature and interest of the members that makes that

longevity possible, and Chris and I are just amazed that there are over

3200 members on our combined lists! So, I want to invite anyone

interested in natural perfume and it's associated form, aromatherapy

perfume, over to my group. We also talk about herbs a lot, but mostly

when we are plotting to tincture or infuse them to extract the scent for

perfume. :-) We talk a lot about concretes, absolutes, essential oils,

floral waxes and all the ins and outs associated with blending them.

 

So if you want to make like a happy honeybee (hey, we talk about beeswax

absolute a lot, too!) buzz on over to the Natural Perfumery Group - we

have huge archives in messages, files, links and such, so welcome!
