Dang, we addressed this on another board, I know rosemary was in the mix, and

polysorbate 80 with niacin and biotin can be used in the balding area and left

on for five to fifteen minutes pre shampoo......I happen to like poly 80 with

niacin, it helps in a base of castor oil to keep the skin warmer and those with

raynauds benefit from the niacin in it...also, doesn't anyone know about the

mineral zeolite? That is a warming mineral.

Since I use liquid glycerin soap and add my own additives, my hair is thicker, I

then began to add poly 80 and its even stronger....I know some people will use

it, others not, I don't have a problem with it.

I will check the archives for falling hair, sometimes the folicles die off from

sls, sles, propylene glycol and the detergents.

Its worth a shot anyway. They are advertising what appears to be an herbal

treatment on TV and I know that using eo's and herbs in general, it must be used

as long as 6 months to tell, hair slows in growth for many.

Thyroid and hormones could be a problem and previous diagnosis of PCOS is also a

factor....with that one, hair will grow like weeds on your legs and chin but

forget about the head LOL!

Annie McIntyre (a delightful British Ayurvedic herbalist and author,

www.annemcintyre.com ) suggests infusing Gotu Cola in Coconut Oil and using

this as a sort of leave-in conditioner on the scalp at night (kind of messy,

but she swears it works!) as well as drinking the tea internally.

She was at Sage Mountain last month, and gave us a beautiful, hilarious

story about it. Within a month of using the oil, her client's hair had

stopped falling out. Not sure how long it took to start regrowing hair, but

it did work. The energetic of it was treating an overabundance of Pitta.

Green Blessings,

Rebecca

Glycerine is a warming additive. Rosemary is good for the hair. A

rose hydrosol rinse can help too. Rose (hydrosol/infused oils) can

help with the hormone balance. (I don't have the specifics, but it

works like a dream for me.) Oh also Earl grey tea.

Raynauds really bites. (I think that's where they came up with the

saying.. Cold hands warm heart.)

Oh and the hydrosol thing. I think Chris is getting ready to purchase

a drum.. But don't quote me on that. Zeolite also removes stench

from the air. I bought one of those things from the pet store that you

put next to the kitty potty so that it wont stink as bad.. (I'm a

little lax about cleaning the kitty potty when I should (ADHD) and I

sometimes forget..) to recharge it you just sit it out in the sun for

a while and the stink goes bye bye.

I started using Nioxin (for my hair loss and it does have rosemary in

it as well as I think peppermint.)

Lessee if there's anything else.. Oh and PCOS. GRRRRRR.

Anything that will help the pancreas can help.. but please check with

the Doctor because there are somethings that have interactions with

any medication that you could or would be taking.

Sending you guys some love and heading off to bed. Cause I'm about

tird. (and yes I misspelled that on purpose.)

Hee.

Puritans Pride is a good place. I use this in my shampoos as well.

The niacin helps to unblock the folicles and also stimulates the skin. If you've

ever taken niacin you will feel a 'flush'.....thats the niacin. Its a B vitamin

and B vitamins are great for hair and skin.
