Making herb flavored vinegars -need information

basil (purple basil is gorgeous)

rosemary

chive

thyme

garlic

hot pepper

mint

nasturtium

sage

 

and any blend thereof... berries make a nice flavored vinegar too.

I need some information about which herbs I can use to make some

herb flavored vinegars.

 

I have already made dill vinegar, and it is good and has good flavor.

 

Need to know what other herbs I can use.

I make a blend of oregano, basil, thyme and parsley, mint, rosemary and mint,

wild garlic, and try to use all the herbs I grow. I infuse oil with chocolate

mint and peppermint for cooking and I infuse other herbs in oil to use when

making skin balms
