Rose Otto for blood Pressure?

Hi Lisa,

What is Rose Otto? It is the distilled essential oil from rose

petals.

 

Can it be used for blood pressure? Any essential oil that helps to

calm you can be useful - temporarily - depending on the cause of the

blood pressure problem. You do not say if it is for high or low

blood pressure but assuming that it is for high blood pressure.

 

Finding out what is causing the problem would be the place to start

(emotional, physical or medical).

 

Using essential oils can be beneficial but some types of blood

pressure problems require medications espeically if due to kidney

problems.

 

Massage with essential oils in the massage oil can - because of the

benefits of massage help to lower blood pressure in different

individuals.

 

Essential oils for a cure all for chronic high blood pressure would

not be recommended.

 

But as supportive care to help you wind down and relax they are

great. There are others on this group that will certainly add and

give you more information. Rose oil isn't the only essential oil

that can help you relax and calm down, and are useful in helping to

lower blood pressure.
