Lori, the various polysorbs are NOT preservatives.... they are emulsifiers/dispersants... to help oil dissolve in water.... Guest guest
I dont use it for that, it seems to 'set' a scent for me and the form I have has biotin and niacin in it. I had seen a 'balding treatment' with herbs and poly 80 to unblock the folicles of the hair. I use it in my shampoo/shower gel with a simple liquid glycerin base and I have to say, my hair is thicker than its ever been. could be the fact I dont use sls, etc anymore or it could be both, what I am using as opposed ot what I used to use. In fact, I think I will order the panthenol. Good B vitamins are great for skin and hair. I've used it in a body oil before and I like how that came out too..... e
