Guest guest
Howdy Rachel, > Thanks for your valuable input Butch, I am sure that you have seen > it all by now in this industry! Welcome you are .. and right you are. I've seen more than I like to remember .. we are totally unregulated but regulation is a two edged sword .. we can see the disasterous results of overregulation in the European Union now. Damned if we do and damned if we don't. But its fair to say that YL is NOT the only outfit that is pushing sale of phony products .. or recommending unsafe use of EO. They are the most formidable but not the only ones. Caveat Emptor! > I have attended several YL meetings in the past and these > individuals are like disciples and there is no changing their > minds! Matter of fact that is. It has been reported by many on and off this list. There are many folks in many walks of life who are seeking a savior to follow .. Gary Young fills that need for many of his groupies. Kathleen and I and others have received Nastygrams over the years for condemning this Holy Feller .. we are doomed to burn in the fires of Hell. I stopped trying to convert them long ago. I will answer questions they have and I believe that I and many others on and off this list have had some success in opening their eyes but I am not into trying to save their souls. You can lead a fool to wisdom but you can't make them think. ;-) > Truth be told, I have personally seen adverse reactions caused by > use of their Lavender for general skin conditions. Yep .. there are many recorded instances of extreme irritation and panic that was caused by the Raindrop crap .. likely it is there are many sensitization issues too but I don't have valid data in hand. > I thought that some of you might appreciate this bit of > information, Gary Young is also nota real doctor but a certified > naturopathic doctor and anyone can receive a diploma through the > mail which is far different from a licensed ND. All of the below is accurate info but its just the tip of the ice berg. As for his ND credentials .. he purchased them from a fly by night outfit called Bernardean .. one can purchase a PhD or whatever they want on the Net now .. at the bottom of the certificate of the diploma it always states (in small print) that it is not an approved academic facility. > Gary Young, ND, markets > aromatherapy products through Young > Living, a multilevel company in Payson, Utah.
