Guest guest
I'm glad you guys are open to this discussion, I soooooooo got chastized for bringing up this sort of thing and MLM practices.....to me, its like give someone a loaded gun and deputizing them without any training.......scary and dangerous. There are scientific data of people who had high blood pressure and others who had strokes that died as the result of eating too much authentic licorice. That was in issue I brought up but every time all I heard was 'its natural, it can't hurt you'.........I challenged that statement by saying 'well, next time you make a fresh salad, why don't you toss in some fox glove and poison ivy, its natural, it can't harm you'.......... With eo's, they were using them 'neat' and you can't do that with eo's unless perhaps lavender oil , there are exceptions to the rule but not many at all. I spent last nite going to places that sold eo's . I want to do a robbers line or thieves line and of course, not make claims. I diffuse it and like the smell very much. I know how to use eo's in soaps, butters, oils etc, but I did see some who also sold YL stating to use one neat and that did worry me. I paid good money to go to two seminars. At first I was angry that I spent money I didn't have but as I look back, it was worth every cent because this ladies and gentleman is the loose cannon that will create 'laws' that will have many an ethical business person who is doing this out of passion, belief and are very concsious of what the results are...... What I found last nite was, you can get all of the oils in that blend in large sizes for what 15-30 mls of the other thats preblended costs......Lemon oil, rosemary, cinnamon or cassia, clove and eucalyptus are not that expensive. Theoretically you could buy all large sizes and in one or two sales your stock is paid for. I was and am livid about this. I have 20 years in pharmacy , herbs and supplements , another MLM that is herbal is causing havoc. As for online credentials, each and every one of us can get a degree in divinity and say we are ministers and I've seen that practice for a tax break.
