Friends of mine have found relief from the pain (and found the swelling starting to recede) by a mixure of 9 drops of Myrrh Oil and 1 drop of Clove oil.... put a bit on your fingertip or on a qtip and appy to the sore tooth. YES... I know better than to use neat oils...and I don't recommend the internal use of the oils... but when a toothache is absolutely agonizing...this blend helps. obviously it's for emergency use only. Guest guest
Man I hear ya. My mom could have cared less about our teeth. I didn't see a dentist until I looked like a chipmunk with a thyroid disorder.....and she complained the entire time. Usually she'd burn the tip of a needle, poke me and drain it and have me hold salt water in my mouth and peroxide.........and they wonder why I twitched drool and jerk......call me 'sybil'...... But I do remember the pain. I think she got one of those temp waxy tooth packs with clove oil for numbing.....but you can go to ER. My spouse says people come with very swollen abcesses and there is a dental chair in there.. They'll give you happy drugs and if you act like you're terrified about dentists they give you warm fuzzy drugs first and then the happy drugs when you're done heh heh And I'm gun shy about infections now days. e
