Group List Mom, Miss Jen *was* OT: To Evacuate or Not

Butch and I may be the only mods on duty this weekend on OHE, since list

mom Chris and Jen are right in the path of nasty old Ike. So if your

posts hang there for a while, realize we're mod'ing as fast as we can ;-0

 

I'll be keeping in touch with Chris via cel phone, land line (if the

phone lines there don't go down) and her husband's laptop.

 

Chris has listened to me so many times prepping and such over the

Florida 'canes (we thought Ike was going to hit here as a Cat 5, but

instead it veered south to Haiti and Cuba) she already knew a lot of the

prep that needs to be done, her house is pretty secure and boarded up,

they have supplies, and most important, my mantra of " deep breaths, deep

breaths, don't panic. "

 

Here's a lot of prayers going out to all our friends in Ike's path.
