Guest guest
Thanks for that link! I know I could grow it and if I can't, I have friends geographically who can. Yes, it is an amazing herb. But....you know people. If 'one' is good, 10 is better.....and you just cannot hammer home the concept that the difference between poison and therapeutic qualities is dosage.......ARGHHHHHHH. That just is a real pet peeve of mine. It doesn't matter, those who will abuse something are driven to find it and they will score. The people who need this particular herb or even the extract, tincture or tea dont have the freedom to purchase it. And I heard a guy on tv the other nite speaking about how people are becoming more 'dumb' about things and have caused much of our choices to be taken away from us because the tendency towards an 'altered state' or false energy, the need to get high and the laziness about excercise...including those who cannot push themselves away from the table.....is not going to be solved by a pill and here we are , those of us who are responsible can't use what balances the body or helps a condition. The general public wants a pill for everything, or an herbal capsule to swallow, smoke or inject for instant mental alteration. They don't know their adrenals take a direct hit and will burn those out over time...... worse, they don't care. I've addressed that with people who would purchase such product and it was very clear 'I don't care'....and steroids , same thing, they know they are dancing with danger and it will come out an a really bad way but that is down the road.......they want that outcome NOW and could care less until they get older and it hits them then its 'If I had known.....' Hell they did know. They did it anyway. Ticks me off because I do know how to use those herbs and others dont get that if you use such herbs properly, the side affect is so much less than a med and you also get the benefit of the entire plant and the nutrients is has as well. I think that guy who said that the masses brought regulation on themselves is probably correct. That's really too bad. Those of us who do practice with accountability can't and while I no longer have acess to herbs I once did, the guy on the street can and even stronger things...... It is not the Govts problem if people kill themselves because of bad choices when the info is common knowledge on what could happen when used in any other manner than what certain herbs are intended for. Herbal X didn't help. I spoke to the guy who created that product and its insane whats in that and how strong each herb is concentrated and then mixed together. I'm just on a soap box now. I apologize and think I'll end this on my end....I could go on about it....shoulda been a politican.......... evie -------------- Anyway, those of you who care about access to herbs, and who have a suitable climate like the high plains might want to try. Richter's Herbal seedhouse had it, bless them. Awesome selection, they ship most products to the USA as well, and their plants always arrive in great shape. http://richters.com The more restrictive governments get, the more important it is for many people to be educated about the healers in humble disguise that grow in their own backyards. Ien in the Kootenays, off to pick some more fall Dandelion roots, rich in Inulin, great tinctured in ACV. http://freegreenliving.com
