Guest guest
ty i will try it - Patricia Wallace Tuesday, September 30, 2008 8:24 AM OT: Making Wine * *Was: Aromatic Bread I make my wine with any kind of concentrate - but just skip the concentrate part. the yeast eats the sugar and turns it into alcohol, so the added sugar is a must. 3 cans juice concentrate 4 cups sugar 1tsp yeast fill a glass gallon wine jug to top with water , shake well, put a balloon (a 12 " helium balloon) on top with a rubber band wrapped around the neck and let it go till the balloon goes down. We don't use balloons anymore. we purchased plastic vents and use those, but balloons work just the same. If the balloon breaks, just replace it. It takes around 6 weeks. Really cool experiment for the kids.
