Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about cottonseed & rapeseed oil other than they aren't good for you? We bought the peanut butter crunch cereal that isn't captin crunch brand and this is the second time my daughter ate it and her behavior was really bad. She was impatient, wiggling alot out of fustration and totally out there. I searched the ingredients and found that the rapeseed oil causes irritability and the cottonseed oil I had no luck with, other than the sugar and BHT added I'm trying to figure out why she was acting like this. I won't be letting her eat this cereal again. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about these oils? Thanks, Genevive
Guest guest
Hi Genevive, First of all, congratulations on being such a sharp observer of your daughter. If all parents were you we'd have fewer kids on drugs. Cottonseed oil: unless the seeds were from organically grown cotton, (not likely), they come from plants that have been sprayed to within an inch of their life. Your girl may be reacting to the pesticides. And guess what they plant after the cotton, to revitalize the soil: peanuts. Once I heard that I became a fanatic about organic peanutbutter. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I know she's not allergic to peanuts because we eat them all the time. Wow that's interesting about the peanuts. Thanks, Genevive --- On Tue, 10/7/08, Ieneke van Houten <ienvan wrote: Ieneke van Houten <ienvan Hi Genevive, First of all, congratulations on being such a sharp observer of your daughter.
