Hi Y'all,

 

Kathy and I have become involved in the Metastatic Breast Cancer

Network. My sister Kathy has gotten a proclamation from Gov. Perdue

for October 13 as Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day in Georgia.

Since then there have been some other things going on and as of this

morning she was asked if she and I would be willing to do an

interview on WXIA, 11 Alive News in Atlanta. We don't know when it

will air, but the interview is on Monday morning, we have to be there

at 7am. Kathy will also be doing a public service interview for

national radio to announce Metastatic Breast Cancer Network

information. And we are not sure when that will air. We are so

excited about this because it brings awareness to the plight of those

of us that are living with this disease for the rest of our lives and

the need for us to be able to have more access to drug trial because

sometimes the treatments available do not work and we need more

options. And also the constant treatments with chemo and radiation

and the pain and hardships that they cause that takes away from the

quality of life.

Breast Cancer Network.
