any other provider suggestions? Thanks

I would highly suggest any possible alternatives. I have written

several articles, and have several streaming audio files that I have

collected about Comcast and Net Neutrality:

peer to peer traffic limiting using Comcast as an ISP - FCC hearing with

paid attendees making no room for concerned attendants:

-fcc-hearing-with-paid-attendees-making-no-room-for-concerned-attendants

Comcast compresses three HD television channels into two - FiOS and

Comcast comparisons:

In relation too: Net Neutrality - Barack Obama's View

a pic I took with the Save the Internet Coalition, in which the audio

recording of the event is available on the upper part of this page in

the media player and at the bottom of this post.:

Hi, I have had hughesnet for over two years. We are in the same

boat. There is no alternative except dial up. No cable. Qwest said

they had dsl, so I had them put it in. It never worked. Finally 2

days after putting it in, I had them take it out. As for hughesnet,

it works alright. Not superfast but certainly better than dialup.

It goes out sometimes in bad weather and it is expensive. I put up

with it for the reasons I mentioned.

There is also Wild Blue and satellite through dishnetwork too. But I

don't know much about them. Good luck. Marilyn

We used Comcast when I lived in Michigan--had great service, no

complaints at all. They very seldom went down and it was usually

things they couldn't control, like someone running into a junction box

or something else that took out a line for whatever reason. They were

reasonably priced, I think--I think our Net was $40 a month and the

cable system worked pretty well also.

Hi,

My sister who lives in a very remote area has had Hughesnet for approx. 8

years. She's a real estate agent and she told me this morning it's great! he's

used her's in town that is Bellsouth DSL and honestly prefers Hughesnet.

I hope this helps..and they are very right when they say they can bring you

service as long as you can see the sky! lol
