I like to use essential oil of peppermint- a few drops (5-6) on a cold wet

washcloth, squeeze a bit to distribute, and apply to forehead. wonderful.

Hi Rodney,

There are a few essential oils that mixed with a carrier oil and

massaged into the back of the neck and head will help to relieve

headaches.

I have a article on our website that talks about headaches. I

have it broken into different types of headaches and my favorite

headache remedies are listed there.

Go to this page on our website

http://birchhillhappenings.com/v822005.htm

If you have a little peppermint essential oil and Rosemary essential

oil blend a few drops of each with a carrier oil - any is fine and

massage that into the back of your neck. Get a drink of water and go

lay down for a little bit.

This gives many folks the relief they need.

I use to suffer migraines all the time. I began by increasing my water

intake to assist with dehydration issues and then take a hot (hot as I

can stand) rag with a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil and lay it

across my head. In 10 minutes, I'm as good as new.

To prevent headaches after a long day, I get an old pot, place some

water in it, a few drops of sage oil, bring to boiling, then turn it

off and let the aroma fill the home. It does wonders for me at least.

In addition, I began practicing hydrotherapy by placing a little

lavandar oil in hot bath water, elevating my legs at 45 degree angle,

close the eyes and stay in there until water begins to cool. You will

be very relaxed (best at nite), stress free. However, you will

perspire alot which is fine as it's releasing the toxins but you should

have a glass of water with a little lemon in it. I normally consume a

quart while in a bath like that. Hope this helps

I use a neck warmer that contains Flax Seed and Chamomile. You can put

it in the oven or the microwave for a couple of minutes to get it to a

preferable temperature.

A plus to the heat is the ability for the warmer to diffuse a drop of

essential oil while you lay back.

I love it!
