Guest guest
Howdy Sandi, My son has been plagued with recurring staph infections in the last year. > Antibiotics clear it up but then it comes back. I am thinking he needs a > blood cleanse? Or can anyone offer suggestions of cleanses and herbs > or to use to combat this. His body can't take any more antibiotics! > I wouldn't even try to make a recommendation to anyone for treatment of MRSA ... but I will give an opinion and say what I would do if it were my son. And I would bet that I am preaching to the choir .. I suspect that you know all I will write plus a lot more. I'm sure you know that Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a type Staph that is resistant to many of the common antibiotics .. like methicillin, penicillin, amoxicillin, oxacillin .. and others. And they are finding that it is gaining resistance to some that were previously effective in treating it .. like vancomycin. That's why the common name for MRSA is Antibiotic Resistant Staph. I don't know why you would think a blood cleanse would be necessary .. or that it would even effective for any bacterial infection. A simple lab test can tell if the bacteria is in the blood. Normally, diagnosis of MRSA is done without a blood test .. unless it persists, as is the case with your son .. so perhaps they have done that. I too would be concerned about the antibiotics .. be they topical or oral. Its a case of damned if you do and damned if you don't. MRSA is sometimes difficult to treat because 100% of the bacteria must be wiped out .. leave one or two and within a day or less you have a colony again. If it were my son I would wonder if it might be a case of them not yet finding the right antibiotic .. doctors do " practice medicine " .. so maybe they just haven't found the right one yet and in order to do that they might need to run lab tests. There is also a possibility that your son could be reinfecting himself when it is cured or almost cured. > Putting Oil of Oregano on suspected eruptions clears them almost > immediately but I am afraid that this is more suppression than healing. > Origanum is a powerful oil for sure and there is credible research supporting the fact that it does kill many Staph germs .. but there are many forms of Staph .. and many forms of MRSA .. and when a child has a problem that is persistent it is not (in my opinion) the time to play doctor with natural products! Actually, its not the time for adults to be playing doctor either .. I have two friends who lost a limb from a Staph infection ... granted it is that this is an extreme but it is not an unusual extreme. This is why I replied to your post. Bottom line .. if it were my son I would tell the doctor to try again .. or I would get another doctor. > Sandi > BlackKat Herbs > http://www.blackkatherbs.com > Good luck I am wishing for your son and you .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch .. http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/>
Guest guest
Hey Butch, Thanks for you take on this..... my son has seen 12 doctors in Florida and they all mixed and matched antibiotics, etc. After this last hospital stay, I had him move up here to Tennessee. Fingers crossed, he has been fine with what I have been doing. Twice the Drs (and I use that term loosely!) almost killed him in the hospital! The last year of his life has been a nightmare.. He is leaving in 3 weeks to teach in South Korea and I just want to try to clean his system out in anyway I can to hopefully insure that the Staph is indeed gone! His sitting under my Electro-Mag Machine & Light (Rife technology) twice a day, plus supplement therapy, oregano oil, etc......and he is doing well. I'd like to thank you and everyone else who has responded to me regarding this! Sandi BlackKat Herbs http://www.blackkatherbs.com
