Guest guest
Hey Chris, It is getting cold in parts of the country, but here in my subtropical > corner of Eden it is wonderful! The flowers are in bloom under a beautiful > full moon tonight (members on the flip side of the world understand as for > them, it is Springtime)! > Getting cold here in Gawd's Kuntry (Tennessee) too .. been in the 60s today and going down to 37 tonight but the rest of the week the night temperatures are forecast to be below 30. I reckon your flowers oughta be in bloom there in Suthran Texas .. it ain't like y'all ain't have enough moisture this year. ;-) You don't gotta go to the other side of the world to think its Springtime. All my older fruit trees are wise .. but the younguns I planted last Fall think its Springtime now. They are all budded out and one Red Delicious Apple is blooming .. big red purty blooms. Ain't figured out why yet but I gotta cause its setting itself up for a disappointment now and maybe even next Spring. We picked our last hot and sweet peppers early this week .. they and the tomatos have bit the dust now. But the cole crops (collards, Brussels Sprouts, turnip greens and such) are in their hay day during this weather .. they taste better cause they're producing sugar as a form of antifreeze. And all my herbs are looking good but one of my Jasmine plants (J. sambac) is looking poorly. > I was inspired to blog and wish everyone a wonderful full moon night! > > http://alittleolfactory.blogspot.com > Nice blog it is .. congratulations. :-) I was also inspired today. Went out and got a pair of insulated hunting boots and insulated gloves. The ones I had didn't cut it early morning in a tree stand and they dang sure wouldn't cut it in a late November duck blind. Was a time that cold didn't bother me but as we become more " experienced " it seems to creep in from time to time. ;-) > *Smile* > Chris (list mom or helper, depending on which list you're reading this on) > > http://www.alittleolfactory.com > Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch .. http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/> .. regardless of which list you're reading this on. ;-)
Guest guest
Duck Blind? DUCK BLIND? This little ole bleeding heart liberal hypocrite is salivating at the thought of Duck!!! and Goose. Mmmmmmmmm. Sigh... Ah weel, Turkey day is coming. Not as exciting as Duck or Goose and no one had to get up at the crack of sparrow fart to go hunt it down, but it'll be tasty enough. Good luck with bird season. >sigh< K > > -- Kathleen Petrides Bead Hussy http://www.BeadHussy.com

Guest guest
Hey Graham I've heard of Turducken of course... Never tried it... Only one problem with one of those puppies, or even a deep fried Gobbler... You can't STUFF em. There would be a full on revolt around here if the stuffing wasn't there. 4 kids in revolt >shudder<, it's something I want to avoid. Hope you and Lynda are well.
