Guest guest
Hey Folks, I lost the info on the lady who makes the tincture from fresh jewelweed. Anyone have that? I tried to get the plants this year, but by the time they were ready to ship from Easy Wild Flowers in MO http://www.easywildflowers.com/, it was already too hot for them to survive the trip to Gulf Coast Texas. I'll have to find the seeds to plant instead .. but in the meantime, I'd like some of the tincture! Poison ivy is still prevalent here, but even when dormant for winter it can give one rashes! Its not just the leaves that contains Urushiol. Thanks for anyone with info! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://alittleolfactory.blogspot.com
Guest guest
dunno about the tincture, I know a lady on one of the boards that does great infusions. if we have a tincture lady.....I'm all in for a yucca....I use that in soap and shampoo and that beats aloe x10, haven't met a person yet allergic to it, is used for arthritis internally and externally in hair care products......it is an amazing tea to do a goats milk cream soap.....so yucca, nettles and calendula is what I'm looking for! If there is a jewel weed , count me in. I am formulating a poison ivy soap ala me that I think will be good enough to patent if I can get that blend just as I want it. evie --- On Fri, 11/14/08, chrisziggy <chrisziggy wrote: chrisziggy <chrisziggy Hey Folks, I lost the info on the lady who makes the tincture from fresh jewelweed.
