Guest guest
Hi Folks..... Just thought I'd mention this..... Methicillan Resistant Staph Aureus was known to exist about 30-40 years ago.... I was taking a Nurse's micropath course back then....I still have the book... The copyright on the book was 1969.... It didn't have an acronym back then...It was one of a *number* of the superbugs that were emerging.... Was why I got into AT......EO works in a different way, than antibiotic... Guy named Gattefosse wound up using EOs when supplies of the current disinfectant was in short supply....think it was carbolic acid....War situation.... Anyway...he noticed that people healed quicker, when certain EO were used as disinfectancts to wounds..... Most all EOs at the time were disinfectants..... I dunno so much about today....but they probably still are... Lead to his coining the term " Aromatherapie " ....in a book.... I dunno how real the burn story is involving lavender EO....terpeneless or otherwise... But if you don't own any lavender Eo, you're 4 plus crazy... Or oregano....or.....<G>..... -- Gary W.
