Hi J,

Although I'm not a soap or shampoo manufacturer we carry a product

that is Sulfate and PEG free. The manufacturer doesn't use any SLS

in this product. The product hardly lathers which is what the SLS

does- it makes lather.

 

We sell a lot to folks that are chemically sensitive to sulfates and

other chemicals.

 

So obviously, shampoo can be made without using SLS - but how? I

could tell you.

 

And not sure about your other question, but I'm sure there are others

that will have the answer.
