Accumulating data have provided evidence that vitamin D is involved in

brain function. Vitamin D can inhibit the synthesis of inducible

nitric oxide synthase and increase glutathione levels, suggesting a

role for the hormone in brain detoxification.

The study shows that vitamin D helps remove mercury from your body

safely by radically increasing the amount of intracellular glutathione.

funny you brought that up....I have to have a D test tomorrow. last time I had

one there was NO D and I had to take one pill a week for 8 weeks I

think......so  we shall see and this time he wants an extensive thyroid

profile.....the kind they usually try to avoid doing.....so this round of tests

is thankfully extensive...man, if I can get those levels even I might just just

go back to pharmacy and do this too......pay in pharmacy is nice and truly

missed and I like staying up on the newer stuff.....and off to continiuing

ed.....time to recert.

Girl, you've got to get out in the sun a little bit. I know you're

Irish, but a few minutes each day can really help those vit D

levels. Vit D will help prevent several forms of cancer, decrease

bone loss and lots of other things.
