Guest guest
Thanks! - cathyjeromeknight Thursday, November 20, 2008 7:26 PM [sPAM] Colloidal Silver Colloidal silver is a natural antibiotic. It seems pricey to buy, but it's inexpensive to make at home. Here's a little info: Silver has been used for health purposes for many centuries. Coins or pieces of silver were used in wines and water to keep microorganisms from growing in them. Children were fed with silver spoons because it kept them healthier. Some of the original pacifiers were made of silver to protect infants from disease. More recently, silver ointments were used in the eyes of newborns to prevent infection. It is used to coat stethoscopes, IV needles, and urinary catheters and impregnated in burn-wound dressings to prevent infection. The FDA has now approved a silver-based anti-microbial dressing called Arglaes and a topical ointment called Silvadene to prevent infection in complex skin problems including severe burns. Silver oxide is frequently used to increase the white blood cell counts of AIDS patients. Whether in the colloidal, ionic, trivalent, or polyvalent form, the use of silver is prevalent in health treatments throughout the world. In test tube studies, silver has been shown to kill over 650 organisms. The medical industry is running out of antibiotic options and is examining the effectiveness of various silver preparations in treating humans. We expect that they first will have nonprescription silver-based products declared dangerous. Then they will have them removed from health stores, and then will reincarnate silver products as prescription drugs. The drugs then will sell at ten times the price of products now on the shelves at your local health store. HTH! " Lori VanScoter " <lvanscoter wrote: > > What is the colloidal silver for?
