Guest guest
I know you asked for a lotion to help with pain but I love the opportunity to share with people what has helped my chronic pain. It's called Active Release Technique. It's soft tissue work that was designed for sports treatment and there are getting to be more practitioners all over the country. My husband is a practitioner and I see so many people that come to him with long-term chronic pain and after a few treatments, they say their pain is mostly gone....with an occasional flare up. I used to have headaches daily, but after ART, I usually only get one about once a month. You can find a practitioner in your area by logging onto www.activerelease,com. Sorry this post is not about oils, herbs, etc. but ART is an amazing tool for holistic health & I would love for more people to be aware of it. Guest guest
I'm always interested in knee info as a few years ago mine started making scary noises. Apparently its called crepitus. Great! I'm 36 and you can hear me walk into a quiet room (snap, snap, snap) and I make an audible crunching sound when I get into a low stance in Kung Fu class I've been taking chondroitin/glucosamine and borage oil. Its supposed to take a while to kick in. I'll keep y'all posted. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://alittleolfactory.blogspot.com

Guest guest
Hi! Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Been so busy getting ready for my holiday open house that i haven't gotten to my e-mail. I will try to explain with my limited medical knowledge. I wish my husband was here to put it into technical terms. ART is a therapy in which the adhesions(like scar tissue) in the soft tissue are broken free. The practitioner finds the adhesions, applies pressure while stretching the muscles. Immediately, movement is easier and there is more range of motion. With repeated sessions, eventually the pain is almost non-existent. Look up their site to find more information and a practitioner near by. www.activerelease.com Again---sorry for the delay Christine www.skc-mt.com could you tell me more about this? my mom is in constant pain & she goes to acupuncture which helps some but she is never w/out pain. i would love to be able to tell her something that works. i have made her potions w/eo's but i think she is past that as they bring her some relief but not enough , Christine Lambert <soulkitchencreatio ns wrote: > > I know you asked for a lotion to help with pain but I love the opportunity to share with people what has helped my chronic pain.
