Guest guest
I just burned my hand on steam from the tea kettle - second time I've done that in two weeks - you'd think I would learn! I haven't learned in 55 years!! LOL Well, after I got done making pie crusts, I got a piece off my aloe plant and sat down to put it on the burn. Sitting there, I was thinking that my lips were dry - so, why not put the aloe on my lips?? Well, my lips feel very moist, but they don't taste very good! LOL It really did make them feel good though! I know you put aloe in lip balms so why not " use it straight " ?? Jan G
Guest guest
After having a burn incident myself fairly recently I blogged about Aloe Vera. http://alittleolfactory.blogspot.com/2008/10/aloe-vera-flora-from-eden.html Aloe is such an amazing plant with so many purposes. Its one of those which I call indispensable - and so easy to grow in even indirect sunlight on a windowsill. *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com , " Jan Gifford " <jangiff wrote: > > I just burned my hand on steam from the tea kettle - second time I've done > that in two weeks - you'd think I would learn!
