Rancid Oils

Hi Evie,

 

You CAN, but you more than likely will end up with what are called

" Dreaded Orange Spots " .. which are little orange spots caused by

rancid oil :( So if you really must use it to make soap, reserve it

for making housecleaning soap, rather than a body cleaning soap :)

Honestly Chris, I wouldn't do it--the smell does come thru. I've run

into it in a swap soap where the maker didn't pick up on the rancid

oil due to a cold when she made the soap. And you're right about the

DOS--so maybe a laundry soap too unless the smell comes thru heavily?
