Guest guest
Hi Evie, You CAN, but you more than likely will end up with what are called " Dreaded Orange Spots " .. which are little orange spots caused by rancid oil So if you really must use it to make soap, reserve it for making housecleaning soap, rather than a body cleaning soap *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://alittleolfactory.blogspot.com , Eviemat52 wrote: > > With reference to oils going rancid........ can they still be used in a HP > or CP soap???? Guest guest
Honestly Chris, I wouldn't do it--the smell does come thru. I've run into it in a swap soap where the maker didn't pick up on the rancid oil due to a cold when she made the soap. And you're right about the DOS--so maybe a laundry soap too unless the smell comes thru heavily?
