Guest guest
Patty, just happened to catch this email. Ear infections and skin allergies are the first things we see clear up on a raw diet. If your dog is on kibble, that could very well be the problem. Also, if they are over a year old, fasting is very important. My dogs fast 2 days a week and when one of my girls had several ear infections, the first thing my vet (holistic DVM) asked was 'have you started fasting her?' I simply forgot to start her fasting (she was just over a year). That cleared it up and she hasn't had a problem in 2 years. If you really won't consider a raw diet, there is an herbal formula by Ambertech for ears, but if it's the kibble, it will just keep coming back until you fix that. You can find more info on my website, www.kuhlmanhaus.com. Check the 'raw diet and health' page. Used it for years and a holistic physician told me how to use it. - Patricia West Tuesday, December 02, 2008 6:41 PM [oils_herbs_ etc] Dog Ear Infection HI all My dog, Mochi, has had a nasty yeast infection in his ears for over a month now. The vets have tried two different medications (topical) but he still has the problem. So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions from a holistic standpoint. We have another appointment tomorrow so if you have any ideas I'll be able to discuss them with the vet tomorrow. Many thanks! Patty
